"In this piece, I wanted to explore the physical tension between mediums to mirror the elemental tension of a horizon. By introducing alcohol ink into the central oil layers, I allowed the materials to push against one another—creating organic blooms, intricate chemical bleeding, and fine textures that represent the dissolving edge where earth meets atmosphere. It is an exploration of controlled structure giving way to fluid, natural chaos."
